Villa Lanassa
Concept design for a hilltop terraced zero carbon villa perched high in the hills above Kassiopi, Corfu. Designed for two families to share, the design seeks to carefully blend the villa with the topography and native flora of the site, with large projecting terraces providing shade and ample areas of mature planting to create a cooling microclimate.
A central external staircase connects the three levels of living space and splits the accommodation into two halves, one for each of the families. Each bedroom has its own private terrace with stunning views across the Ionian Sea towards the mainland. Generous communal areas on the lower level include kitchen, dining, living and TV room, while the pool, jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen occupy the lowest terrace.
