Heronsgate Outdoor Classroom

The brief called for an economic, bespoke outdoor classroom that built on designs made by the children during an earlier collaboration. With space for up to 120 children, the final design incorporates built in benches, desks and a whiteboard. The structure, comprising a CNC-cut Kerto frame and a tensioned fabric roof, was made off site and constructed in two days.
